Why this portal exists
Inform, guide and let each person decide
Action Aide Humanitaire began with a simple observation: when people want to help, many do not know where to start or how to distinguish an official website from an intermediary.
The portal gathers public information to make that first search easier. It does not replace the organizations’ work, their detailed explanations or the visitor’s critical judgment. Our role is to show clear paths to identifiable actors and to recall basic checks before any action.
The selection evolves with available information and may omit worthy organizations. It does not measure the human value of a cause or rank actors with different missions. Content is reviewed and updated, but errors or recent changes remain possible; each organization’s official website is the reference for taking action.
Our method
Organizations are selected from official websites, international mandates, recognized networks and public transparency indicators. The list is not exhaustive and is neither a ranking nor a certification.
Data and donations
The portal collects no donations and requests no donor data. Every action takes place on the chosen organization’s official website.
Publishing method
How a profile is selected, checked and updated
Every profile is based on public information and follows the same editorial path. This method supports clarity and traceability; it does not turn the directory into a quality label.

Check the name, mandate, country of origin and official domain using information published by the organization or a recognized network.

Describe its work
Review operating fields, intended communities and public transparency information to write a factual, concise description.

Check destinations
Buttons lead to the official domain or an identified action page. The portal adds no collection, payment or application form.

Review and correct
Pages display their review date. Links and information can be corrected when a change or error is reported.
